Bachelor’s Degree Requirements:

• Minimum 120 Credit Hours
• Minimum Cumulative G.P.A.: 2.00 
• Minimum G.P.A. in the Major: 2.00
• Writing Intensive Course
• 30 Credit Hours of Residency Courses
• 9 Credits of Upper-Level Major Residency Courses

Program Major Requirements (30 Credit Hours):

• SSC 200 - Big Ideas in Social Science 3 CR
• SSC 320 - Research Methods in Social Sciences 3 CR
• Complete two of the following introductory social science courses 6 CR:
• ANT 101 - Introduction to Anthropology   
• ECO 100 - Introduction to Economics   
• GEO 101 - Introduction to Geography   
• POS 101 - American Government  
• SSC 100 - Introduction to the Social Sciences  

Other Program Requirements (6-8 Credit Hours):

• Complete a two-semester sequence of the same Foreign or American Sign language or a two-semester 100-level history sequence 6-8 CR

• MAT 115 - Elementary Statistics I 3 CR
• Complete a two-semester sequence of the same Foreign or American Sign language or a two-semester 100-level history sequence 6-8 CR

General Electives (42-44 Credit Hours):

• Complete 6 credits of upper-level electives outside of the major (outside of ANT, COM, ECO, GEO, HTY, POS, PSY, SOC or SSC) 6 CR
• Complete 9 credits of upper-level electives 9 CR
• Complete additional general elective to reach the required 120 total credits 27-29 CR

Humanities:

Fine Arts:

Quantitative Literacy:
