DEH 201 - Preclinical Dental Hygiene Theory

This course establishes a foundation in the essentials of dental hygiene theory and clinical practice including instrumentation, infection prevention and disease transmission, dental materials and clinical procedure devices commonly used by dental hygienists, dental health assessment and diagnosis, dental hygiene care planning and management of medical emergencies.

Prerequisite(s): Enrollment in Dental Hygiene Program and DEH 265.
Co-requisite(s): DEH 200L and DEH 228.
