Admissions Requirements:


  • 18 credit hours of applied science/arts

Associate Degree Requirements:


  • Minimum 61 Credit Hours
  • Minimum Cumulative G.P.A.: 2.00
  • 15 Credit Hours of Residency Courses
  • 9 Credits of Major Residency Courses
  • Minimum G.P.A. in the Major: 2.00

Major Requirements (30 cr):


Complete either of the following pathways:

  • Complete any BIO/CHY/SCI/PHY/GEY electives 6 CR

​AND

  • Complete any 100-level or higher general electives 24 CR

OR

  • Concurrent enrollment in the Aviation Maintenance Technician Certificate 30 CR

General Education Requirements (22 CR):


Written Communication:

Oral Communication:

  • Any satisfactory course 3 CR *

Quantitative Literacy:

  • Any satisfactory course 3 CR*

Social Science:

  • Any satisfactory course 3 CR*

Natural Science:

  • Any satisfactory course 4 CR*

Humanities and Fine Arts:

  • Any satisfactory course 3 CR*

Computer Literacy and Information Literacy:

  • Any satisfactory course 3 CR*

These General Education courses are waivable for students with prior bachelor’s degree

Other Program Requirements (9 CR):


  • Complete 9 credits of 100-level or higher general electives to reach the 61 hour requirement.
  • Complete any 100-level Communications course 3 CR
  • 3 CR

  • Complete any 100-level laboratory science course 4 CR
  • Complete any 100-level or higher general elective 3 CR
