Bachelor’s Degree Requirements:

• Writing Intensive Course
• Minimum Cumulative G.P.A.: 2.00
• 30 Credit Hours of Residency Courses
• 9 Credits of Upper-Level Major Residency Courses
• Minimum G.P.A. in the Major: 2.00

Program Major Requirements (72 Credit Hours):

• INT 208 - Introduction to Interdisciplinary Studies 3 CR
• Complete 36 credits in a primary area of study, 18 credits of which must be upper-level (300-400 level) (36)
• Complete 15 credits in a first area of concentration, 6 credits of which must be upper-level (300-400 level) (15)
• Complete 15 credits in a second area of concentration, 6 credits of which must be upper-level (300-400 level) (15)
• INT 495 - Capstone in Interdisciplinary Studies 3 CR
• Submit a Statement of Interest and Intent (see advising notes for details)

Other Program Requirements (40-42 Credit Hours):

• Complete any 100-level Communications course (3)
• ENG 101 - College Writing 3 CR
• MAT 100 - Mathematics and Its Applications 3 CR or higher 100 level math course
• Complete any 100-level laboratory science course (4)
• Complete a two semester sequence of the same Foreign or American Sign language or history sequence (6-8)

Complete one of the following Fine Arts electives (3):

Advising Notes

• No more than 39 credits total may be taken in any single discipline.
• Capstone may be taken as an independent study or students may take a capstone course from a related program.

Clep Information

• CLEP examinations may be taken at any time in the student’s program.

Transfer Information

• Credit is accepted in transfer only from those institutions accredited by one of the six regional associations of schools and colleges.

Upper-Level Courses

• A minimum of 45 upper-level credit hours (300-400 level) are required to complete the degree.
• Upper-level courses in which a grade of “D” was received may be used to meet program requirements, but are not applicable to the minimum upper-level credit hour requirement.
