In a world of big data, data cleaning is a critically important skill that has a robust set of theories and practices associated with it. This course will detail theories of data cleaning and will give students the opportunity to practice techniques with real and spoofed datasets.

Prerequisite(s): Graduate standing or (CIS 110 and CIS 150) or permission of the instructor.
