EDU 250 - The Teaching Profession

This course is designed for students interested in entering the teaching profession (K-12). Historical, social, political, and philosophical dimensions of education, as well as current issues, will be examined. This introductory experience will help students develop multiple critical thinking skills they will use to examine and evaluate multiple aspects of teaching and assist them in envisioning their own personal philosophy of teaching and learning.
