This class is an introduction to art history and architecture and their methods, including the diversity of the world’s cultural traditions from the beginnings of human-made objects more than 30,000 years ago up to the Medieval period. Students will learn the vocabulary and methods of art history and analyze a diversity of artworks made before 1400.
