Intro/Overview
The HGH minor is an interdisciplinary program which encourages students to examine genocide and human rights within their historical and cultural contexts, to begin to understand the causes, impacts, legacies, and lessons of genocide, and to consider how to create an environment of broadmindedness and inclusion in their world.
The program draws upon interdisciplinary humanities, social sciences, and justice studies with opportunities to focus on several academic areas as well as interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary connections and social justice approaches.
