ENG 102W - Introduction to Literature

This course builds on critical thinking, reading, and writing practices begun in English 101, focusing on poetry, prose, and drama. Students will investigate the world they inhabit through literature, building their writing skills by incorporating critical analysis, developing arguments that interpret or evaluate works of literature, and honing their research abilities on topics raised by the readings.
