NUR 226 - Nursing Student Success Seminar1 CR
This 1-credit college course is designed to empower nursing students with essential skills and knowledge to excel in their academic journey and future careers. The course focuses on fostering personal and professional development guided by evidence-based strategies and holistic interventions directed toward effective study habits, communication strategies, time management, academic integrity, stress management, self-care and reflection. The course finale will include a nursing community induction ceremony; a tradition to inspire students as they start their nursing journey, pledging their commitment to their peers, patient care and lifelong learning.
Prerequisite(s): BIO 210 and PSY 100 . Co-requisite(s): BIO 345 and NUR 225 /CIS 225 .
