This course combines three academic disciplines - Business Management, Public Administration, and Financial Services in a study of Maine’s #1 industry - Tourism, Hospitality and Outdoor Recreation (THOR). The creation of a series of unique THOR Vacationland courses, at each of the University of Maine System campuses, is an initiative from both the UMS Chancellor’s Office and the presidents’ office at each of those campus locations to increase academic offerings in this all-important industry which helps drive Maine’s economy and potential post-graduate professional careers for our UMS students. This course is cross-listed with BUA 246.
