AME 476 - From Revolution to Republic: America Becomes a Nation

This course examines significant issues, people, symbols, and events surrounding the American Revolution, competing ideas about republicanism, gender and racial roles, the Constitution and Bill of Rights, and the meaning and significance of an American identity, culture, and political economy in the 1790s. (This course is cross-listed with HTY 476)

Prerequisite(s): ENG 101 and HTY 103.
