Interpersonal communication concerns the verbal and nonverbal processes of meaning making between people. This class will explore both the basic interpersonal communication processes such as disclosure, listening, conflict, and support, and consider how they apply in a health communication context. Health communication contexts include patient-provider communication, caregiver communication, partner and family communication about health.
