String Techniques is a laboratory class delivered in a private lesson or small-group format that addresses basic instrument knowledge, performance and pedagogy of the string family for violin, viola, cello and bass. Study of string pedagogical techniques will enable the student to teach and direct elementary, middle and secondary level pupils. Repeatable for credit.
