This professional music technology certificate is designed for individuals who aspire to work with music technology in all fields related to the music industry. These courses are also applicable toward an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Contemporary and Popular Music or in a bachelor’s degree in Music Technology.
Upon completion of the program, students will have developed:
- a working knowledge of audio recording software
- a working knowledge of recording studios and their components
- a working knowledge of audio electronics
- music theory and ear training skills needed in the field of music technology
- a working knowledge of the areas within the field of music business

UMA Certificate Requirements:
- Minimum 50% of the required courses taken through UMA
- Minimum 2.00 G.P.A. in the Certificate
