CIS 260 - Cisco Networking

The course introduces the architecture, protocols, functions, components, and models of the internet and computer networks. The principles of IP addressing and fundamentals of Ethernet concepts, media, and operations are introduced to provide a foundation for the curriculum. Topics include building simple LANs, performing basic configurations for routers and switches, understanding the fundamentals of network security, and implementing IP addressing schemes.

Prerequisite(s): CIS 240 .
