COM 320 - Health Communication

This course explores communication principles, models, and theories concerning issues of health and healthcare. Topics covered will include interpersonal communication about health between patients and healthcare providers, relational issues in health including end-of-life care and caretaker relationships, healthcare organizations, communicating risk and health campaigns, new media and health, and diversity in healthcare.

Prerequisite(s): Any 1xx-Level COM course.
