HUM 310W - Introduction to LGBT Studies

LGBT studies considers how and why sexuality are cultural constructions. In broad terms, this course will seek to answer the questions: what does it mean to be gay, lesbian, bisexual, and /or transgendered? The LGBT experience(s) will be placed in various cultural, historical, and social contexts. (This course is cross listed with WGS 310W)

Prerequisite(s): ENG 101 (WGS 101W is also recommended but not mandatory).
