Admission Prerequisites:

Baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution in a different discipline
Minimum Cumulative G.P.A. of 2.5
At least 24 credit hours in the content certification area being sought: English, social studies, physical science, life science, social studies, or mathematics.
Must declare a concentration in the area in which the student has at least the 24 credit hours:
- English
- Social Studies
- Physical Science
- Life Science
- Mathematics

Program Requirements:

All classes passed with at least a B-
Candidacy application required after completing EDU 100 , EDU 200W or EDU 335 , EDU 215 , or EDU 216 , or EDU 217 , EDU 251 , EDU 366W , EDU 387 .
Application required for residency year (advanced field placement and student teaching)
