ART 425 - Engaging Maine Artistic Communities & Careers

This in-person and distance synchronous course exposes students to Maine’s community of art practitioners through regular class visits with art professionals in Maine, giving students clear pathways toward careers in the arts. A 21st century alternative to internships, this course concretely links UMA’s B.A in Art with professional art careers, giving students access to some of Maine’s most vibrant creative professionals and career pathways. (This course is cross-listed with ARH 425).
