SSC 200 - Big Ideas in Social Science

This course will explore both historical (‘classical’) and emerging (‘contemporary’) theoretical frameworks and paradigms in the social sciences. Students will develop a deeper understanding of social perspectives, compare and contrast different approaches, explore real-world applications, and foster a greater appreciation of the role of social theory in understanding human social behavior.

Prerequisite(s): Any 100-level social science course.
