This course presents the theory of meteorology for those intending to make aviation or aviation forecasting a career. Weather concepts are explored and explained in context of the weather reporting and forecasting and their applications to aviation. This is more than a weather theory class, as the materiel presented aids the student in putting the theory into practice.

Prerequisite(s): AVI 150 or permission of the instructor.
