CIS 425 - Machine Learning II

This course will build upon the concepts covered in DSC 325 Introduction to Machine Learning. Topics covered include data preprocessing & dimensionality reduction, working with large datasets, and Reinforcement Learning. Through lectures, reading and projects students will gain and demonstrate an understanding of how these various techniques are implemented in software and develop an intuition for the application of these techniques to solve problems in the context of data science. (This course is cross listed with DSC 425)

Prerequisite(s): CIS 325/DSC 325 or permission of the instructor.
