HUM 333 - Issues in Future Studies

Future studies is an interdisciplinary area of research and speculation concerned with social and global forecasting and methodologies, the creation of alternative futures, and development of strategies for shaping or avoiding alternative futures. Through varied readings, research, and discussion, students will investigate aspects of the future through diverse lenses, including ethics, sociology, esthetics, and technology. (This course is cross listed with SSC 333)
