AUD 219 - Introduction to Audio Recording

After successful completion of this course the student will have achieved a basic competency in Avid’s Pro Tools and will have acquired new listening skills. The Pro Tools portion of the course explores the whole process of working with audio: from session creation to recording, editing, mixing, and bouncing down the final product. The listening portion of the course teaches the student to listen to, localize, and notate sounds in natural environments and then apply the concepts to recorded music.
